Services
Skinning
Skinning and fleshing services are offered on all animals. Skinning prices are separate from our tanning costs, but include turning of the lips and ears and taxidermy prep.
Tanning
We use proven methods to create long lasting, durable yet soft hides, and we offer both wet and dry tanning services. Prices for flat hides are per square foot or per linear foot, and capes and small animals are set prices.
Leather
We also offer a custom vegetable- tanned leather for any species. We have deer, elk, cow and bison leather for sale as well. Please call for availability and pricing.
Finishing
All our prices include cleaned and brushed hides, and our bison are trimmed and sewn as well. Hides that we tanned can be cleaned and re-brushed at no charge as needed over the years.
Hide Care
Hides should be cooled off, folded flesh to flesh, and frozen.
Hides that are salt dried need to be fleshed entirely, lips and ears turned, and toe bones removed before salting.
Dried out, inadequately fleshed, or salted before fleshing will be charged an extra fee.
